Profile Information

About Me
My name is Brian Buschor. I am currently serving with the 101st Airborne Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I am 33-years-old and the father of two boys - ages 11 and 4. I have been in the US Military for 6 years, and as of right now, I plan to make it a career. I was recently promoted to Staff SGT.
Struggles and/or Successes
I have been on three deployments to the Middle East and have always been surrounded by great gyms but have been too lazy to take advantage of them, but I have decided... NO MORE LAZINESS! I have been working out for three weeks now and I can already see amazing gains and that encourages me to keep going.
Motivation
Right now my motivation lies in the changes I see in my body and the desire to want to lift more weight each and every workout, making my body stronger and stronger. I have also made a personal goal to myself to be in the best shape of my life by my 34th birthday.
Goals
Right now my goals are to reduce my body fat down to 10-12% and keep my weight within Army standards, which is 189 lbs. I also want to increase my Bench Press to at least 200 before the end of the tour. I would also LOVE to find my abs! I know they are in there somewhere.
Routine for staying fit
At the moment, I am working out two times a day, each session on a different muscle group. I work that same muscle group twice a week and I take Sundays off. Until recently, I was also adding a good long run during the middle of the day, trying to prepare to run a half-marathon at the 10-week mark. However, I hurt my knee on day 8 of running (5-miles) and haven't been able to run since. I am going to continue the 2-a-day program for 12 weeks. During the 12 weeks that follow that period, I will be concentrating on reducing more fat, bringing my weight back down, and trimming to show off all the muscle I built in the first 12 weeks.
