Running kind of gal.

O.k. it has been a while as always. I am a horrible person for writing anything and I am sure that Amanda has been shaking her head at me because I haven't submitted anything in a while. My life has been so very busy and I no longer know what to write about. I am not a very creative kind of gal (can't spell worth of beans thank goodness for spell check) but I manage to plug through it. My trainer told me that I have to start increasing my cardio to drop the body fat. Yes I know it is a must but… Continue

Feeling old

I have so been feeling so old lately. Yep, I am getting back on track with my diet and also my workouts. I had two incredible workouts one for lower and one for upper and I feel incredible. All the other girls at my gym who train as intensely as I do are at least 6 years to 10 years younger. I don't know why it is bugging me but it is. Now my trainer said that I should be proud that I am the oldest one and that I work extremely hard and I look fantastic. I guess I am just realizing now that I am… Continue

Overindulgence

I have been on vacation for the past week and have been on the road travelling around northern Ontario and I tell you trying to find healthy eating sure isn't easy. Now it would have been a lot easier if I didn't have any kids then I would have some room in the Rav to pack a cooler with great eats and all would be well. I love my mom dearly but her cooking so fantastic I just can't stop with a little on my plate. The other part is that it is not exactly what I call clean eating as some of it is… Continue

Wow been a while

I just got around to looking at this page and found that it has been a really, REALLLLLLY long time since I have updated this blog. Where to really start? Not sure actually. I have been in a not so great nutritional space at the moment. I hate stress, I am very much an emotional eater and so here come the chocolate and chips. Not a good thing and I so have to get the motivation to stop this junk eating and get my butt moving. My workouts are not what is suffering though. In the gym I have been… Continue

Did it

This past saturday I went to the gala I was talking about and I have posted a pic of me in that dress I was trying to fit in. Yeah me. Lots of hard work and nutrition got me there. I still need to work on a lot of stuff but it is a work in progress. I need to come up with another goal to work towards as it is always a little easier to stay the course when you have that goal sitting right there. I have to start preparing meals again and start monitoring my portions. I soo need to get back on trac… Continue

Cooking meals today

The kids are in daycare, I have people putting in new flooring in the basement after the flood that happened after Christmas and my husband is sleeping so I decided since I am limited to how much stuff I can do and where I can go to pre-cook some of my meals. Yep all you hardcore people out there that do bodybuilding, know that you have to be prepared so you don't end up cheating. It is way harder than you think to do this. First you have to buy all the stuff, then you have to find the day and t… Continue

Only one month to get the best body I can

I am not much of a blogger but I have decided that maybe I should give it a try and see where this leads me. I am in much need of accountability as I have one huge goal for Feb 20th. I am going to a gala where I have bought a dress for it. The problem is I have to look absolutely fabulous in it as it is a little more on the shorter side than I would have ever worn and it is also skin tight so every little bulge will show up in this dress. According to my friend I look absolutely smoking hot in i… Continue
