motivating the world one body at a time

It speaks volumes when I am quiet, and it is always a good thing because it means I have been reflecting alot and been in a good mood.

I'll get the big ones out the way right here and now.

3 months smoke free, very content, in fact very happy with the way my life is working out for me right now.
Job is good, I have been quite steady and active at work. Feels good to be busting my ass when this would be the time when I would be fishing or riding my motorcycle. Even still, without the job, I can honestly say I would be screwed, especially with the way this economy is lately. I have been out west alot, and I have seen so many beautiful sites, between the sunsets of Saskatchewan or the thunder storms of Winnipeg, everything is alive, including my good spirits.

I have gained some weight since I quit smoking, even with that downside, I am pumped that I can breath again, feels friggin' awesome!!

I hope my bike will be ready for the end of the month, I really need some ride time in. I have had some issues with the wiring lately and I haven't really had the time nor the patience to fix it, and besides, I need a few other things done to it as well. So it's down with the mechanic until I get back from the next trip, and I hope I am home in time for my birthday...I would love to ride on my birthday..something very peaceful about it all.
The FF Founder Amanda has also come up with an idea to have a ride on the 4th of July to help raise awareness for Progeria Research. I hope that anyone in the area around then, that is a riderm, will attend.
If you need more information please drop me a line and I'll fill you in further.

I hope everyone that is reading my stuff is not bored to death yet, I've been in a bit of a writers slump. I have been so wrapped up with work and other things lately, that I haven't really felt anxious to write anything down, kinda sad come to think of it, I really should embrace this happiness and learn to write with it too, but it seems like I have a knack for writing the the sad stuff first...but none the less, I'll try and become creative in new ways.

With that said my friends, let me ask a small favour of you....if you want me to discuss anything in particular, or if you have questions, please, feel free to hit me up and gimme what you want to hear about. I like being able to carry a conversation, and sometimes blogging is so one sided and it really doesn't provide me with enough motivation to continue. Thanks people...

Moving on....

I think with summer here, in a mild kind of way, I will try to keep working on dropping weight. Since I have quit smoking, I have upgraded my diet and I have been eating more regularly and choosing my foods more carefully. Something is going to change, this much I promised myself...I told myself that if I could quit smoking I could do anything, and thus far I have made a great attempt to meet the goals I set out to accomplish, and I will continue.

One more thing to do very soon, is to take some time off and go fishing and ride my bike whenever and wherever I can. Tell me something people, what are you looking forward to the most this summer?

I had a friend of mine ask me the other day how I can write so openly and honestly, so I had to explain and I will again to the rest of you who may not understand.
Truth is a painful reality sometimes, however, it makes us better people to truly reflect on our own lives and see what it is that makes us tick. For me, its writing and being open with the people around me, others might be music or dance, but no matter what it is, you make it your own and you should embrace whatever outlet you have been gifted with. So let me say this in closing today...find your outlet, and it may take alot of courage for some, others may not need any courage what so ever, but, take that outlet and share it with someone, anyone, because no matter what your outlet is, someone out there will accept it and truly be appreciative of it.

Peace and Ride on!
Jamie
