I just got around to looking at this page and found that it has been a really, REALLLLLLY long time since I have updated this blog.
Where to really start? Not sure actually. I have been in a not so great nutritional space at the moment. I hate stress, I am very much an emotional eater and so here come the chocolate and chips. Not a good thing and I so have to get the motivation to stop this junk eating and get my butt moving. My workouts are not what is suffering though. In the gym I have been pushing my self very hard and have been making major strength gains. I am so happy that I can do over 500 lb leg presses, full body dips and pull ups on my own. I have also made gains in my incline overhead shoulder press up to 40 lbs with no help. It is such a great feeling when your trainer pushes you so much harder than you think you can do and you do it.
I was at the CPTN conference this past weekend and it was a great weekend. I have learned so much and will be going again next year. I hope by this august or september to be a certified personal trainer and maybe start doing some training on a part time basis. During this conference I took a session on boxing and all we did for an hour is learn the moves and did the workout and I tell you I was sweating by the end of it and out of breath and I am not an out of shape person. I am looking at possibly taking some more sessions as I found it extremely energizing and who knows maybe I will become certified to teach it at some point. Next year I will take some pics and then maybe post a blog on it.
I am so excited I am doing a photo shoot with Kelly this sunday and I am excited to see what we are going to do. I have never done a photo shoot so I am kind of nervous. I just hope she can find a great picture of me.....
So I was looking for a challenge to get my motivation back up to keep up with it. It just is not there like it has been. So any suggestions would be fantastic....Hope everyone has a great day and I will try to blog more on my progress
